Birla Global University is a private University in Bhubhneswar, Odisha, India established in the year 2013. It was founded by Basant Kumar Birla and Sarla Birla as the Birla Institute of Management and Technology Bhubhneswara, private business school by Birla Academy of Art and Culture.

This University is approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

More about the University

The main campus of the University is spread over an area of nearly 30 acres of land situated at IDCO Plot No.2, Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar.

1. The university has class rooms, Multi Media studio, offices, residential accommodation, gymnasium, play fields, cafeteria and health centre with all modern amenities.
2. BGU also provides residential facilities to the students. An ambulance is present in the campus throughout the day to meet any medical emergencies.
3. The library of the University is equipped with text- books, reference books, Periodicals and Journals. The library is also enriched with digital facilities and computer system.
4. The faculty is really experienced and all of them are deeply engaged in education, research and consultancy. The research and publication wing of the University regularly contributes into the academic and industry researches which help to inspire the industry on new ideas.
5. The academic conferences, seminars and workshops organized by the university present the academic and industry views upfront and help in knowledge sharing.

Courses

BGU Courses include various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of management. The candidates are thus given a number of options to choose from. Admission

The candidates can apply for different courses offered by the University online or by downloading the Birla Global University application form.

Application fee Rs 1150/- for admission in MBA can be paid by using any of the following mode

     a.       Online payment through Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card

     b.       Sending Demand draft drawn in favour of “ Birla Global University ” payable at Bhubaneswar

Admission to MBA and LLB will be based on state and national level entrance examinations of MAT/CAT and CLAT, respectively followed by Written Test and Personal Interview.

 Admission to all the other courses in based on Written Test and Personal interview.

Placements

The university not only provides placements to the students, they also provide summer internship opportunities to the students in order to enable students to transfer the knowledge obtained by the students in classroom to the workplace and make them familiar to the environment of the corporate world. Students can avail the internship opportunities form the university or they can choose the companies on their own.
