Vignan Institute of Technology and Science (VITS), Hyderabad is a constituent of the Vignan Group of Institutions, it commenced its establishment in the academic year 1999. It is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is run and managed by the Lavu Educational Society. It was ranked in the NIRF 201-250 band of engineering category in 2021 and accredited by NAAC with “A+” and NBA. Times of India ranked it 26th for best placements in the country.
