Faculty: Dr. K.Raghavendra Rao is working as Principal, College of Engineering and Technology and Senior Professor, Department of Physics, S.K.University, Anantapuramu. He has 35 years of Teaching and 32 years of Research experience. He has published 60 Research papers in various National and International journals. Fifteen (15) research students have been awarded Ph.D. degrees and ten students have been awarded M.Phil. Degrees under his guidance. Presently he is guiding two Ph.D. and one M.Phil. Students. He has been associated with various Universities in connection with Teaching (guest faculty) and Board of Studies. He is referee for a couple of Instrumentation journals. He is a Life member of various societies like ISOI, IETE, and IEEE etc. He guided many children for Science Congress and Science Fairs. He completed three Major Research Projects funded by UGC, CSIR, and BRNS. He developed Multichannel Analyzer for Mossbauer Spectroscopy. The same was developed at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He visited Rome, Italy and Bali, Indonesia in connection with Paper presentations at IEEE International Conferences. He delivered Key-note addresses and Talks at National Conferences. He co-authored two text books for U.G. level students pertaining to Telugu Academy. He has developed simple and cost-effective experiments useful for Intermediate and Degree level students. At present, he is encouraging students of Degree (Physics and Electronics) to Design and Develop Experiments using Micro controllers. From the Administration side, he worked as Head, Department of Physics during 2009-2012, Chairman, and Board of Studies during 2012-2015 and also as Co-coordinator for Department of Electronics, S.K.University, Anantapuramu. At present, he is the Principal, Sri Krishnadevaraya University Engineering College, Anantapuramu. He has Published 50 Research Papers in National and International Journals and presently writing a text book for a “Practical Training on Embedded System Design”, and book Chapters for Elsevier Text book on Big Data. He is a visiting faculty at different Universities and Engineering Colleges. His current interests include Electronic Instrumentation, Embedded System Design and Internet of Things (IoT).
