Mount Carmel College Details
Mount Carmel College, also known as MCC Bangalore is an autonomous women’s college in Bangalore which was established in 1948. The college is affiliated with Bangalore University and is owned and managed by Carmelite sisters of St. Teresa (CSST). It offers courses in Management, Computer Application, Science, Commerce and Humanities at undergraduate and postgraduate level. They also offer doctoral and 1 year diploma courses. The college has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “A+” grade. It has also been awarded with the title “College Potential for Excellence” by the University Grant Commission. The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) also recognizes the college. Also, The college was ranked among the top three colleges of Karnataka in the areas of science, commerce and arts by the India Today in the year 2008.
Mount Carmel College offers courses in Management, Science, Arts and Commerce at undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral levels. Courses offered by MCC Bangalore are BA, B. Sc, BCA, B.
